Throughout the early hours of June 4, 2024, OpenAI's ChatGPT experienced issues and unavailability for some users.
At 01:32 AM PDT, OpenAI's reported that the issue had been identified and mitigated.
At 04:45 AM PDT, the company reported that the incident had been resolved.
However, around 07:00 AM PDT, reported outages on Downdetector spiked yet again.
As of 07:33, OpenAI reported that they are investigating the issue.
Around 10 AM PDT, OpenAI reported to have resolved the problem, stating,
"We experienced a major outage impacting all users on all plans of ChatGPT. The impact included all ChatGPT related services. The impact did not include platform.openai.com or the API."
So far there are no news as to what may have caused the outages.
